OK, Bill I won't look for an alternative, but will say this is a very nice shot.
Bill Phillips: grin Thanks Frances. I didn't want people to waste their valuable time grin
You have a great composition here Bill... i like this Autumn valley... it invites me to take a walk down the path and to wander through the evergreens....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Spring Peter, those spots of colour in the foreground are bluebells
This looks completely computer generated, instead of enhanced - It would be great for a 3-D animated film!
Bill Phillips: Heavily twiddled...it started off real
I shall miss Eb's posting
Bill Phillips: Not as much as I will

Taken last April I would guess from the state of things here. This is a most agreeable time & it is a pity you haven't had time to go out with your camera since
Bill Phillips: Year before at least.

Well that is a shame! I like the composition and tone Bill, but I do find the allover sharpness rather disconcerting.
Bill Phillips: I was in sharpening mode...kitchen sink variety. Well I'm fed up not being able to walk very far and take pictures. so I have been twiddling. It gets worse next week if I don't get anything new
You enjoyed the twiddle I presume Bill. I quite like the resilt.
Bill Phillips: I did Richard!

It will not be that many more weeks before we have such similar scenes again. By then, no doubt, they will be struggling with a foot of snow cover.
Bill Phillips: Probably snow in June
Very cheering, we can imagine that Spring is nearly here.
Bill Phillips: The bulbs are all coming up and I think the Hyacinths in the front garden will be flowering soon!
I wish I could afford to send my chiropractor over to see you.
Bill Phillips: smile Your kind thought is much appreciated Mary.

That is a relief Bill. I like the colours in this but struggle with your treatment.
Bill Phillips: Don't struggle Chad. Just accept it for what it is.......whatever that is
I like the look Bill, A very nice shot, the tweaking has not overwhelmed the subject, if you know what I mean, smile
Bill Phillips: This is a tad less overcooked than the last couple but there are worse to come Frmnk
This might have been at the time we visited Clent with you, the Bluebells were in fine splendour then, any way it is a nice shot Bill.
Bill Phillips: I can't recall if this is then or the previous year as i can't find the original!
You've been at the Topaz again, haven't you?
Bill Phillips: Up to my eyeballs Tom
Oh this is bad, bring back the pig.get mike to come over and walk on your back with his high heels on.
Bill Phillips: You seem to have migrated to the United States. You ain't seen nothing yet. However the back is showing signs of improvement and i have a real project in mind grin

The composition works really well. It's a pity that portrait orientated images never display as well as landscape ones on a blogs.
Bill Phillips: I have always been a fan of portrait orientated landscapes and i know what you mean

This is like walking out of winter into spring, really lovely Bill smile
Bill Phillips: Judging by the way the bulbs are coming up we haven't had a winter grin

Are they really bluebells? Sometimes it seems so long before spring and the bluebells I wonder if they are a figment of my imagination
Bill Phillips: They are bt this picture was taken a couple of years ago
The twiddle works well, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Graeme
