You and Brian are on a common theme, Bill, but you are disguising yours well!
Bill Phillips: He has been boating all week!
Boat Friday has taken over! smile
Bill Phillips: It sure has!
Great boat Friday smile I love seeing the house boat photos on the canals smile Lovely!
Bill Phillips: Narrow boat holidays are very popular. You have to go slowly so it is a total contrast to the hustle of modern life
Interesting treatment- These boats are so pretty when their full color is shown- but I really like the way this whole thing is rather subdued - nice framing too!
Bill Phillips: they have become very popular as a holiday...flat out at about 4mph!

I must say I have grown quite fond of your canal boats, Bill...very different from the Dutch ones I see almost every day. I love your image here.

And I do recollect hearing that distinctive voice on your video. smile
Bill Phillips: I love to see these narrow boats. some of the canal art is a delight to see. Very colourful
Yes, yours has two bottles of twiddling potion to Brian's one
Bill Phillips: A whole bucketful

De 3 bengels (stooges) probiert een boot te sturen. Rampzalig.
Bill Phillips: The thought of us three let loose on a boat!

Today we see some humans enjoying their boat trip -I like the reflection of the boat in the canal -but an untwiddled Boot Vrydag/Vrijdag was more pleasant in my view.
Bill Phillips: I am in unrepentant twiddle mode at the moment Philine. Mr Pig is also doing a series of exceptionally bad twiddles next week but hopefully they will amuse!

Louis' commentaartje is grappig- dit kan je alleen maar in het Nederlands zo uitdrukken!
Bill Phillips: I love the word Bengels!
Cool, lazy summer days. Nice shot. Not so nice to be on the water this time of the year though, I think.
Bill Phillips: I would not fancy it at all in the winter

Is this the new mighty waterway through Droitwich?
Bill Phillips: Indeed it is and has the potential for a series of breathtaking length
A fine image for boat friday Bill.
Bill Phillips: I thought i should enter into the spirit of it for a change grin

Please to tell us where this is, Bill. Local to you?
Bill Phillips: This is the newly restored canal in Droitwich. This is just on the edge of town heading Toward Hanbury. so very local smile

We say: He is a 'Bengel', not an 'Engel'! You three stooges are behaving sometimes like a Bengel, but your Ange is an Engel or Angel. In Dutch we say 'engel/engels', too!
Bill Phillips: Angela is well named. (Even if she does have a wicked sense of humour)

I like the reflections very much. Is one girl hanging over the side in case she is sick?
Bill Phillips: Probably saw me

You could entitle this series, Round my Way. I thought you were joking when you announced that you were learning Hollandaise.
Bill Phillips: I plan to learn German. I think Dutch would be too difficult. I want to be able to insult Mrs Murky in her own language
Love the old-time nostalgic feel you've given this one, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Beverly. It is great to have the canal back after about 40 years!

Bill Phillips: Thanks Linda. I think i agree that is is the best of the bunch
I like this Bill, nice angle in the canal and very good twiddling.

Too much twiddle for me Bill - when does the free trial run out?

I like the underlying photo tho'
Bill Phillips: gringringrin It is a 30 day trial so it has a couple of weeks left. Actually used in a restrained manner it is a useful tool. I just felt like giving it the full wellie
this image has such detail. and the comments too enlightened me.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Ayush. I am pleased you like it
