Very fine example of outdoor ceramicware, Bill.
Bill Phillips: a thunderbox of magnificent proportion Ray
Hmmm and this is where? What if you're shy...
Bill Phillips: In a builder's yard at the Black Country Museum. It wasn't in use grin

It looks as if has had much heavy use over the years. Is it from the Clench Hills baconsarnie outlet, now out to grass and dreaming of triumphs past...
Bill Phillips: They have a new one at the Clench Hills and, frankly, this is in better condition than the old one was

It just needs a few luscious plants, Bill, to redeem it.

And to think someone came up with a 2:46 video of it!
Bill Phillips: That has to be one of the most uninteresting videos on You Tube Ginnie.
I've never favoured the idea of communal living, and this takes it a step too far. Well spotted though, in all its muddy glory.
Bill Phillips: In an emergency????? grin

I like the open aspect of this although personally I prefer some privacy. An interesting "design" on the bowl.
Bill Phillips: When you think they used to have three seater ones in olden times....i think this might be preferable grin

I remember having a good snigger with the rest of the class when we were informed of the inventors surname!
Bill Phillips: But he didn't invent it!!!
I think the seat looks a little rough for me. Good find.
Bill Phillips: I think it is beyond use
Ilike this one Bill. Seems like this has seen better days.
Bill Phillips: It is defunct

An abandoned toilet, eh? Thomas Crapper would be horrified!
Bill Phillips: He was a fine plumber

The royal family should be made to sit on this.
Bill Phillips: Do I detect a Republican sentiment here? Tony Blair should be....no i won't say any more grin

A marble throne - does Doulton work in marble? Otherwise it looks to be of good enough quality.

Is it some kind of bird bath?
Bill Phillips: Vitreous enamel i believe they call it. A mixture of porcelain and glass. I might be spouting total crapper though grin

Rather you than me, Bill! I didn't look at the video as I thought that by now, I had a pretty good idea how to work the toilet!
Bill Phillips: I never cease to marvel at what is on you tube
Can somebody stand in front of me while I go!!
Bill Phillips: I think i would rather be behind you Brian

I wouldn't mind that in my back garden!
Bill Phillips: It would look good with a nice Fuchsia in it
It appears to be discarded, but very nice looking..lol Great shot.
Bill Phillips: Very discarded! Thanks for dropping by and commenting
Believe it or not i had to buy an extra high toilet seat this week Bill... that Royal Doulton looks to have been the perfect height lol...
I'm going to visit as much as possible this week... i have given up trying to catch up on my replies.... i can only be online for about and hour a day until i recover a bit more....petersmile
Bill Phillips: All that matters is your swift recovery Peter. I find a glass or 3 of wine cures most things and if that fails a good single malt or a Jack Daniels works well grin
I've found somewhwre you could get a bathroom book to go with this.
Bill Phillips: B&Q?
A bit cold on 'the cheeks' with the wooden bits gone.
Bill Phillips: Keeps you concentrated on the job in hand Martin
