Lovely "life and death" kind of photo. Great shot.
Bill Phillips: I think the flowers days may be numbered as it is supposed to be frosty tomorrow night!
A beautiful picture here Bill. I love the wonderful color.
Bill Phillips: There is still a lot of colour left in the garden Frances but we are due a frost tomorrow night which may put paid to it!
A lovely garden it is, Bill. And watch out for falling brakemen!
Bill Phillips: Blame my daughter for the joke.

Snap!

There is the beginning of a nice carpet to break the fall of any fumble-footed brakeman, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I swept them up shortly after taking the picture grin
I love seeing the snapdragons with the fallen leaves- fickle time of year isn't it? Cute poem!
Bill Phillips: These seeded themselves here and come up every year!
I love your November garden Bill... but do you have to keep rubbing it in... we have snow remember... but i still have a few flowers in my garden... great shot and a good laugh....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Frost is forecast for tomorrow night Peter so it could spell the end of the summer flowers sad

At first I thought: ach, two gutteridge/ drain pipes, too- but here of equal width -oh no, two trees (berches?) in lovely cohabitation - and three flower- stooges- and a lot of autumnal leaves - a fine November phot without any november blues!
Bill Phillips: It is a flowering cherry Philine. Lovely in the spring and autumn but somewhat anonymous in the summer

This shows what an an odd November we are having - dead leaves and flowers in full bloom. Love the colours.
Bill Phillips: We have roses in full bloom and the fuchsias are still going strong too.
This is what we have this year. Autumn leaves and summer flowers. I like it!
Bill Phillips: It has been a strange November Mary
Life's rich tapestry
Bill Phillips: Yeah, like, whatever
Lovely composition, things may change colder weather on the way later in the week I'm told
Bill Phillips: We are expecting a frost on Tuesday night

A colourful garden, sir Bear. Go on, sweep it - don't let the brakeman stop you.
Bill Phillips: I have swept once and now there is another pile. I'll wait until the rest drop off
Great light & colours Bill
Bill Phillips: and so much cheaper than a trip to Westonbirt
It may be Mid November, Bill, but this wonderful image just radiates warmth.
Bill Phillips: It has been so very mild for November although we are expecting frost on Tuesday night

Bill Phillips: I swept up one lot and now there is another lot!

I am ashamed to be laughing at that joke. Great garden picture Bill.
Bill Phillips: I know what you mean i was groaning how awful it was when Kathryn told me, trouble was i was laughing too!
Lovely shot, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tom. I think the forecast frost will put paid to the old snapdragons!
Summer and autumn. Good composition, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Indeed it has been this year Graeme
Perhaps we should have a week of garden pictures from our own gardens, this is nice bill, we haven't got a tree that moults like this.
Bill Phillips: I sometimes wish i hadn't when I have to brush the leaves up
