I think the boy is thinking, "I'm too old for this sh**. I want to try the other one over there!"

BTW, after Astrid and I arrive in Atlanta tomorrow afternoon, we will take my grandson to the county fair...the only day we have available! If we didn't go, it would be his first time to miss it in 10 years! Can't let that happen.
Bill Phillips: He looks embarrassed by the whole thing. Have a great trip to Atlanta
Oh, some boys's dreams may be fullfilled -and the waltz/Walzer is a fine accompagnement! I can imagine to be on a fair as small girl but I preferred the horses, lions, elephants caroussels ...
Bill Phillips: I was never a great fan of fairgrounds.

That boy looks less than pleased
Bill Phillips: He does rather
ginnie sums it up quite well. After all we don't want kids to have an innocent childhood anymore. :-(
Bill Phillips: apparently not Richard
Sounds like an honest appraisal of the business model smile
Bill Phillips: It does John. Certainly the wobbly bit

Wobbley, very much so. Boy thinks: hope my mum doesn't force me to go for a ride on this.
Bill Phillips: He's a bit old for this ride i would think. Maximum age about 4!

I won't ask if you indulged!
Bill Phillips: It would be more than wobbly if I had
I guess he's thinking that he really doesn't want to be associated with this. Sorry I couldn't let that "naff" music play for more than a few seconds, nice turntable in the picture though.
Bill Phillips: Rogers and Hammerstien as I recall. My dad bough the LP of the original film soundtrack.
He doesn't look exactly thrilled by it does he. At least it brightens the place up a bit
Bill Phillips: And heaven knows it needs all the brightening it can get Janet

This image will do little to inspire me to visit Burnham.
Bill Phillips: You could hire a bubble car and re-live your youth
I might be afraid to let my children on a ride that has wobbley in the name.
Bill Phillips: It isn't the most confidence building name

Aaah, the little lad in his England shirt, Is please dad hurry and fix it, or is he looking at dad, can I have a go smile
Bill Phillips: I think he is dreaming of playing for England as far away from Burnham as possible

It's been a lovely series, thank you. I will look on Burnham with new eyes.
