A day trip to Burnham-on-Sea 2

This depressing picture is singularly inappropriate today as it is Angela's birthday. so I will find a nice video to put in.

We saw Neil Sedaka in the Early 70s and he was fantastic on stage

Nothing depressing about Neil Sedaka, of course. I bet Ange is glad she's not Sweet Sixteen. You, too? grin HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ange and I hope you spend a great celebration together! Have a great weekend.

I'm suddenly feeling very bouncy...with Neil in the background. grin
Bill Phillips: I can't imagine being 16 ...mind you I wish i had the motorbike I had then. Family lunch tomorrow. Nice Italian in Worcester that we all like

"A perfect woman nobly planned
To warn, to comfort, to command and
Yet a spirit too, and bright with
Something of angel light within."

WWordsworth wrote this of his wife- but as I read these words, I thought you could say that and quite more of your lovely Angela I found very likeable when I met her in Bath last year -my best wishes for her and do enjoy this special day, her birthday!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Philine. We are at Acorns this morning but tomorrow we are having a family lunch in Worcester at our favourite Italian restaurant.

This is a little different to yesterdays blue sky and sea, then you walk around the corner and get a totally different atmosphere!
Happy Birthday to Angela, have a lovely meal smile
Bill Phillips: Indeed so Linda. Ange will read the comments later !

Please pass on my good wishes to your wife. I am going to be complementary for the second day in a row by stating that b&w is suitable for this photograph.
Bill Phillips: I thought so, but it is gratifying that you think so too
Happy Birthday Angela. It is my Dad's 80th today ( we held his party early) and my brother's 49th.
Bill Phillips: Well I never! a milestone for your brother next year
An excellent image of the dullness that many people experience in part of their lives or even all of it.

Hope Ange has a lovely day.
Bill Phillips: We have been at the Acorns shop all day!

Happy Birthday Angie!!!

But no choccie box! As good as it gets in Burham on Sea - fine photo.
Bill Phillips: It isn't exactly pretty but we had some decent Fish and chips!
A much different part of Burnham on sea Peter. Happy Birthday to Angela.
Bill Phillips: It is not a pretty place

I like this photo - no 'dullness'- a typically English street scene with the bay- windows, front yards, and I have just discovered some hearts -birthday- hearts!
Bill Phillips: I like the sound of birthday hearts
Happy birthday Ange and I expect Neil brings back some pleasant memories
Bill Phillips: A vastly underrated writer and performer. On stage he is brilliant
amazing how b and w makes a photo take on a whole new meaning
Bill Phillips: It does and it helps to convey the meaning you want to get across
Happy birthday to Ange and a good weekend to you all. Neil Sedaka is just as good now as he was back then IMHO.
Bill Phillips: He has been saying he is going to retire for years according to his son but he can't stop doing what he loves so much!
A distinct air of depression in this image.
I enjoyed the Neil Sedaka clip, such a contrast in mood.
Bill Phillips: nice and gloomy. Neil Sedaka is still a great favourite of mine
Happy birthday indeed. The picture does look depressing although no doubt innocent enough, smokers have become outcasts with no place to go. Mr Berry's 'Sweet Little Sixteen' was a less schmaltzy favourite of mine.
Bill Phillips: Chuck Berry was one of the greats although by all accounts not the nicest of people
