Clever "candid" shot, Bill.....

[grin]
Bill Phillips: Cheers Ray
That is wonderful, Bill! Very sweet! You should frame this one and give it as a gift to Helen!
Bill Phillips: I may well do that

And to think that from behind they look like husband and wife! He does NOT look like a centenarian.
Bill Phillips: Nor does she

Yes, this is a touching picture- and I can feel the intimacy and narrowness between the two persons (I know the situation well) - and the wonderful song "Oh, mein Papa war eine wunderbare Clown..." is accompagnying in a lovely way your photo! Thanks!
Bill Phillips: I thought would would relate to this Philine

Oh, this song has accompagnied my whole youth!
100 years -oh, what a biblical age - and he can still leave his house while sitting in the wheelchair and enjoy the trees, flowers ... wonderful!
Bill Phillips: He can walk quite well but slowly so the chair was for speed!

Lovely light in this one Bill, and I like the contrasting patterns. His plaid and her floral. His chair plain, hers striped. I suspect this interplay would have been lost in colour.
Bill Phillips: In colour it is just all colour! I felt in B&W you got the body language

Oh, good daughter Helen! Once a nice doctor in the hospital said to me: "The corner in Heaven where all the good daughters who are carrying for their dads and mums are gathering is already overcrowded, and I said to him: "The corner where all the mothers are gathering is certainly also overcrowded!"
Bill Phillips: Very true. My girls would agree about their Mum
He looks like he is doing very well and being well cared for. Lovely shot Bill
Bill Phillips: He still has a lot of independence but now he is in Droitwich Helen and Graham are always close by

That is special, indeed. And with Calvert at that smile
Bill Phillips: The man with the golden trumpet.
Helen's dad looks to be much younger than 100 years, Bill. A touching image of father & daughter. Lovely!
Bill Phillips: He doesn't look it at all and is very much with it!
At least these two seem to be paying attention to the band Bill.... nice warm shot....petersmile
Bill Phillips: They were indeed Peter
This has been a fascinating series Bill... I'm seriously jealous.
Bill Phillips: I take this as a great compliment Mr Trim.
That's a fine age Bill, hopefully he will have a few more years yet.
Bill Phillips: He is in good health generally so I hope so too
Yes great to be out and about at that age
Bill Phillips: Indeed it is John
