The hair of the codger on the left is migrating South.

The hair of the codger on the right has got all confused and is just jumping up and down on the spot.

Are these a couple of dero party-crashers from the weekend outing, Bill?
Bill Phillips: A couple of old gits
They seemed to be good buddies! Excellent capture of friendship! wink
Bill Phillips: They hate the sight of each other (not really)
They don't look like Simon and Garfunkel Bill.... but they do look like great old friends....nice portrait....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Don't sing like them either Peter
Great photo! I love it! And that is one of my favorite S&G songs!
Bill Phillips: I have the bookends Album on vinyl.

Great portrait of two good and dear friends, it brings back great memories of laughter and joy.
I keep repeating myself by saying.... 'Blame it on the Internet'.... we found dear friends we would have never found!!!!
Bill Phillips: I think we should put these two back where we found them Lady P

Oh, I love Simon & Garfunkel, Sounds of silence was/still is one of my favourite sounds, great poetry - and I like the old friends Chris & Richard- fine portraits! RT has trimmed his teeth whereas CHPH is just waiting for his dental prosthesis, therefore he has shut his mouth, an unusual pose though. Both are outdoors person and have a fresh complexion!
Bill Phillips: The bookends album is somewhat overshadowed by the Bridge over troubled water one, but it was a very good one

A great picture and I love the song.
Bill Phillips: So do I. I have the album on vinyl and haven't played it in a long tiime

The likeness to S&G is uncanny. The comradery of shared interests and values.
Bill Phillips: I suspect S&G will not be flattered to know that

2757 SC Posts between them - pillars of the establishment.
Bill Phillips: Indeed Mike. I have just looked and this is my 1368th. I need to get a life grin
A cracker of a shot, Bill. You've really captured the essence of their friendship with this one.
Bill Phillips: They almost look as if they like each other grin
Good to see harmony was restored after cameras at dawn, but they did take the Kodachrome away.
Bill Phillips: Kodachrome....ah the nostalgia of it

I like John's Kodachrome ref! You haven't seen the last of this pair - re wrinkles, see my blog in a couple of days' time....
Bill Phillips: Oh goodness they will become swollen headed and even more insufferable than they already are
Great picture of these two Bill. Hopefully I am meeting Richard in Loughborough in the next few weeks. We went to Shugborough today, excellent place to visit if you haven't already been there.
Bill Phillips: Yes we have been to Shugborough and I quite agree it is well worth a visit
