...makes it look heavy!
Bill Phillips: Well it is
Very good light in this shot Bill....petersmile

If you are going to murder a song Bill at least wear dark glasses...the reflection from your screen is distractinggrin
Bill Phillips: Anything that distracts from my singing is generally regarded as a good thing Peter
Great play with shadow / light!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Elizabeth

Oh, your voice ("quietly murdering") is wonderfully gentle, almost like a breath from paradise and some erotic -but, sadly, I don't understand any word so I cannot translate the song (I don't know)- but it doesn't matter - I don't see much on your picture - is a naked putto lifting up the lamp?
Bill Phillips: Yes some sort of cherub like figure.
really interesting picture.
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Marion

Oh, thank you very much for the song text - a beautiful song I love - and I now I love your singing 'leise, zarte Stimme' quite more! Ange must have been carried away!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Philine. I am not sure that Ange was carried away though grin

That character is catching the light from, the ceiling lamp in his jar. Ingenious. I prefer this song sung by Cher, after you of course.
Bill Phillips: I like Tim Hardin's original

Nice picture of Mannekin Pis holding a search light.
Enjoy the labours of this day.
Bill Phillips: I am. I like doing the occasional day
Some darkness there
Bill Phillips: and some light Chantal
the dulcet tones under the ol' B&W lamp... lovely!
Bill Phillips: Cheers Rob
You did a marvelous job of the song, Bill. I like your gentle voice.
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Mary
I like the lamp Bill, it has a lovely globe apart from the light on the ceiling. I suggest you accompany Astrid on 4th.September, I have asked her to perform the Astrid Sonata for us over lunch.
Bill Phillips: We could do the old Albert Chevalier song "My old Dutch" grin
Almost surreal - the picture is a trifle strange, too!
Bill Phillips: Well indeed so grin
Casting a little light, I remember fires on the beach and the folk guitar, great days long gone.
Bill Phillips: Nostalgia isn't what it used to be John

Great light and you did not murder that song at all....
Is that lamp at the bottom of the staircase??
Have a great weekend after a quiet day at the office smile
Bill Phillips: Perhaps just wounded it a bit?
You have a great weekend too. We are on Acorns duty tomorrow and having a family fry up on Sunday....I'm not frying them I'm frying all the things you shouldn't eat for them!
Great B/W and lovely song Bill. Your singing is very soothing
Bill Phillips: That isn't what my family says
