That will never do, Bill...libraries should be for books and the people who would read them...no place for other stuff!
Bill Phillips: A bunch of flowers adds to the pleasure of reading as does a good bottle of plonk
I actually like the distraction from the linear- and I imagined it sweetened up the place a bit!
Bill Phillips: It adds a touch of home

another beautiful, elegant photo near to the corner where I liked to take seat some days ago- you prefer dark Edelbitterschokolade, don't you? (choccie box pocture!)
Bill Phillips: It is indeed. Funnily enough I have posted a dark choccie box landscape in the near future
Well the books are never read now ... so lets enjoy the flowers
Bill Phillips: Sadly that is probably true Richard

The natural world and the literary combined. Lovely still life - the softness does not detract.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Ingrid. I will happily agree

Well read old fred. No boat, but I like libraries and b&w. So, what a combination smile
Bill Phillips: Yes libraries and kitchens are my favourite bits of these old houses

I'm not sure if the books are in focus and the flowers slightly out. Of course it could be just my eyesight Bill.
Bill Phillips: I think the pot may almost be in focus Chad

I'm sure that some books have been read, i.e. the most passionate and romantic true love story of (Peter) Abelard and Heloïse. "The nine hundred year old love affair of the 12th century philosopher and theologian and his student Heloise continues to inspire and move us. Their passionate relationship scandalized the community in which they lived. The details of their physical and spiritual intimacy is also a cautionary tale for our time."
Bill Phillips: You are so wonderfully observant Philine.
Might look nicer in colour, I think?
Bill Phillips: I felt like doing a series of B&w this week and chose this as one of them. You could well be right. They might ALL have looked better in colour Tom smile
This and the previous shot, both feel and look right. Good series.
Bill Phillips: Thanks John, i'm pleased you enjoyed it
The lilies look like they are shouting "let us out"
Bill Phillips: Hahaha Set my people free!
This has a nice feel to it Bill, all is well with no burnt out bits today.
Bill Phillips: and plenty of nice black to keep Epson happy
