I have not seen a chair quite like that before, Bill.

Not a lot of doings being done, Bill.
Bill Phillips: A chair expert would probably tell you the type of chair and where it was made. Naturally I have no idea at all

The flower carpet attrectes my eyes. Another lovely corner in an elegant NT Manor House!
Bill Phillips: a lot of pattern in wallpaper and curtains too and yet it looked OK

I'll take the writing table

I see a theme developing here. At least the table is positioned by the window to get some light whilst writing important missives.
Bill Phillips: A theme eh?What would that be then?
Very nice chair, Bill - I'd like one like that!
Bill Phillips: It a rather elegant chair and I wouldn't mind one either
awesome B&W
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much chantal

You are perfecting your blackie skills admirably Bill.
Bill Phillips: I may rename this sight Blackbear...or yellowdog

Good one Bill, crisper light than yesterday and the simple objects almost become silhouettes against the variety of complex patterns.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mike. I liked that the light picked out some detail in the bak of the chair

Sepia would suit this
Bill Phillips: Maybe but it is a bit overdone these days

Can I just say that the person who decorated this room, could've used glasses. Curtains, carpet and wall paper not match at all! ;-)
Bill Phillips: True but they actually looked very inviting all together. What I hate is things that nearly match!!

Lots of detail, I like the ink well on the desk. Excellent black and white again Bill smile
Bill Phillips: I remember having a desk with an inkwell at school and having to write with a dip in pen. Being lefthanded didn't make it any easier!

Good selection of patterns (though I think I would struggle with living with that carpet!) I might have cropped out the burnt-out highlights at the window.
Bill Phillips: It looked alright in that room but it would look daft in my house! You are probably right about the window but I didn't want to crop the chair too tightly
I think it is a fine chair Bill, against a good background. It is just the little burnt out area in the window that carps a bit.
Bill Phillips: Yes, i left it because I didn't want to crop too tightly but it is unfortunate
