Haha! Is this the bear we saw some days ago sitting in the basket while waiting for a new owner (for only 1 Engl. Pound)? I hope he is as dear to him as I would be!
Bill Phillips: No Philine an entirely different bear. This is Paddington Bear.

No dignity for bears in these modern times - what's wrong with holding hands ;o)

Some people never grow up is the first thing that comes to mind. Second, this is a grandfather.

The stars of Brideshead Revisited suffer the ravages of time.
Bill Phillips: No doubt they do Chad. I never saw the program did they wear jumpers like this and walk round holding Paddington Bear?

Interesting view of two backsides. Was he being taken back to Kings Cross station?
Bill Phillips: You are thinking of Kings cross bear. Not as successful a book
This is an adorable shot. Does Paddy have a rain slicker, hat and Wellington boots to put on in wet weather, Bill?
Bill Phillips: Indeed he does Beverly.
A succesful days bear hunting by the look of it.
Bill Phillips: Looks like it Janet
Ghastly jumper isn't it and what a way to carry poor old Paddington. My kids were never interested in Paddington.

Dear Yellowbear,
I belong to the few poor children who don't know Paddington bear, but I have just ordered a book via amazon for I want to experience more about his adventurous life. Thanks for your encouragement. I assume you are an uncle of Paddington bear or one of his best friends. You are 'bärenstark', this is a German word and means 'super super'!
With kind regards, Philinchen
Bill Phillips: The Paddington books are a delight Philine and you will discover the wonder of a marmalade sandwich
The bear-napper caught heading for the woods!
