Mr Pig is reading a book

Good to see Mr Pig improving his mind with a good book. I wonder if you can tell what the book is he is reading?

Nope! Why don't you ask Mr Pig, Bill?
Bill Phillips: He can't talk, he just sings Old MacDonald had a farm
Sorry, I don't recognize the illustrations. Three Little Pigs? Ian Fleming?
Bill Phillips: Interesting ideas Larry

in any case a book his father bought for him at the book sale in Droitwich last Saturday or a book about salt miners uncle Stanley presented him at his birthday last Friday or Friend Yelowbear's favourite book "The Wind in the Willows" he lend him recently - in any case a good and funny book, and Piggy looks completely absorbed and content - the best time to fill the time whilst Mummy and Pappi are away on their 40th honeymoon journey! I could cuddle Mr. Pig! He is not on diet!
Bill Phillips: All of your ideas are better than mine Philine.
You big softee Bill [grin]
Bill Phillips: I don't know what you mean Richard

Is it a Moomintroll book by Tove Janssen?
Bill Phillips: An interesting suggestion Chris.
Alice in Wonderland of course!
Bill Phillips: An excellent suggestion Marion. totally wrong but excellent
What a funny pic!
Bill Phillips: I hope so Chantal
mmmmmmm! Charlotte's Web smile
Bill Phillips: no and not Babe either!"
No idea what the book is, but its a cute picture.
Bill Phillips: He is a cute pig....I have to say that he is watching me
It's not Percy Pig house painter is it?
Bill Phillips: You are right Janet, it is not
Since the script doesn't seem to be in English, Bill, I think I will go with the guess that Chris made.
Bill Phillips: Well spotted that it is not in English Beverly, but can you guess what language it is?

Hmm - he actually looks like he is gazing out of the window, but we will leave him in peace ;o)
Bill Phillips: You are surely not suggesting that he is only pretending to be reading this are you Mike?
Strange company you keep in your house Billsmile Actually it is a very amusing image. Hope you enjoyed your short break away.
Bill Phillips: Actually people say the same to Mr Pig.

We had a good time, went to three National Trust houses!

It is not German, it could be French- je je je - but I am not sure - in any case my high appreciation that Mr. Pig is able to read another language than English! Oh, Bill, you keep us in suspense - quite more than Blackdog! This seems to be a new method to keep the visitors in line! Haha, I hear Mr. Pig laughing about all the clueless visitors!
Bill Phillips: Mr Pig is a pig of many talents and is multi lingual. He also sings and plays the trumpet
LOL Bill...can't make out the book ....is he learning how to flygrin....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Now you are just being silly Peter. everyone knows pigs can't fly

LOL at Peter. Is he reading "Animal Farm"? Or could it be "Vremya" by Mikhail Dostoyevsky?
Bill Phillips: All good answers but wrong
He looks slightly alarmed at what he is reading!
Bill Phillips: so would you

You can't fool me Bill - Mr Pig is just pretending, as I know pigs can't read!
Bill Phillips: You've read animal Farm haven't you? Don't the Pigs read in that?
