Makes an unusual and quirky shot. The moose still looks surprised as being there smile
Bill Phillips: Perhaps because it was shot by a woman

I bet they used a lot of salt preseving this animal Bill.
Bill Phillips: OMG!!! There is life after death
A Moose???
Bill Phillips: A Moose
The moose (North America) or Eurasian elk (Europe) (Alces alces) is the largest extant species in the deer family. Moose are distinguished by the palmate antlers of the males; other members of the family have antlers with a dendritic ("twig-like") configuration. Moose typically inhabit boreal and mixed deciduous forests of the Northern Hemisphere in temperate to subarctic climates.
hilarious caption. nice image. seems like its been packed away for a while though
Bill Phillips: A very old joke but then so am I
Said moose . ''I hoped to have a long and happy life ...then some bugger came along and blasted the life out of me ... is that sods law''
Bill Phillips: It is life in a nutshell Mr Trim

Bill Phillips: Mercigrin
That is a moose, not a big one but a Canadian.
Bill Phillips: I can confirm that it is indeed Canadian

Bizarre. On first sight I thought it was some sort of otter standing on its hind legs! A nice little oddity.
Bill Phillips: Good grief Ingrid what sort of wildlife do you have down your way?
And a fine, artfully draped moose it is...
Bill Phillips: elegant in its own way

Hhheee... "there's a moose aboot the hoose"! I've never seen one in the wild that has a sort of wooden collar around its neck. I'm being to think its an add-on at a later stage...
Bill Phillips: You could be right Alan, i am no expert on the Moose
Very odd indeed, but it made me look.
Bill Phillips: Well that's good Sheila. hope you are getting settled in OK
Haha, very good Bill smile I prefer to see the heads attached to the living body though. Trouble is, you can't stop the gentry shooting them for fun - more's the pity
Bill Phillips: I think this one was shot a long time ago Pam. I agree with you though the only thing I would want to shoot with is a camera
I thought otter, too, before scrolling down. Stuffed heads are popular today.
