Plenty to like about it, Bill...well worth another viewing.
Bill Phillips: Cheers Ray. It is rather splendid!

Yes, wonderful Tudor style - and I like to see it - again and again ( long, long ago I saw it with my own eyes --NT?).
Bill Phillips: It is NT and a lot of work has been done there. It is somewhere I would like to visit again

And a very good shot of it too. It isn't always easy to take this sort of place in b&w because the end result can be on the stark side
Bill Phillips: Thanks Chris. I think it would be hard not to get a good picture of this beautiful house
You realise of course that we have to blame the Victorians for painting Tudor homes black and white ... so I'm informed.
Bill Phillips: Indeed so Richard. Don't tell them in Herefordshire though

I don't mind seeing it more often! Great place!!
Bill Phillips: I will have to visit again one day as it is a great house

I agree it is a good looking building
Bill Phillips: And it has no foundations
Truly remarkable place, it looks almost too good to be true.
Bill Phillips: Yes I know what you mean Martin
What a great place Bill. It reminds me of the old buildings in Cheshire. You have taken a very good photograph here.
Bill Phillips: Well it is in Cheshire Stanley. Congleton, so not too far from you and well worth a visit if you have the time
It is certainly typically English to us North Americans.
Bill Phillips: Well I suppose it is. Sadly not many of us live in the timber framed houses of the English village!

Built to last and it has.
Bill Phillips: And with no foundations either

Now this is when black & white is appropriate! It;s a lovely building but I've yet to see it for myself.
Bill Phillips: It would look the same in colour grin
I can see why you like it, Bill. Wouldn't this be a wonderful place to call home?
Bill Phillips: It would but I wouldn't want the heating bills!

There is something about this style of architecture that seems so English and warming Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is the sort of house (smaller perhaps) that most of us would love to live in
You did this one proud, in B&W, really gives it that vintage postcard look. And what a great piece of history too, Bill! Do you know, I've been there? grin
Bill Phillips: Then you will know what a wonderful house it is!

Bill Phillips: Thanks Glo , pleased you like it
Yes, delightful place - I have a few pics of it myself lying around somewhere!
Bill Phillips: I took quite a lot but i'll spare you the rest!

One day Bill I'll get around to visiting, meanwhile I will enjoy your picture.
Bill Phillips: Worth a trip Les and not far from you
I would like to visit this place, it seems to cry out to be shown in B&W.
Bill Phillips: It is magnificent Brian.
Gorgeous in mono Bill
Bill Phillips: It is a great house Pam
