Celebration

Here the Stourbridge fans calebrate as there team takes an unexpected lead. These are real football supporters. No glamour in supporting a non-league team but their fans stick with them through thick (and mainly) thin.

Passion for the sport at all levels is inportant
Bill Phillips: I have more time for this level than for the overpaid players in the Premier league who don't seem to understand that they are a role model for the kids

Grass roots football can be great entertainment ...just like village cricket.

I'm no fan of guys wearing football team shirts ... but then I'm possibly a boring old fart just as I suggested to chris with my comment.

Time for a coffee.
Bill Phillips: Then on shutterchance you are amongst friends Richard gringringringrin

Let's hear it for the boys! smile
Bill Phillips: They deserved their goals!
Well done Bill, this is a cracking picture of a vital moment in the game. Just look how excited those people on the terraces are
Bill Phillips: There is not often much to get excited about in Stourbridge Stanley

Football is to me what seagulls are to you.
Bill Phillips: I don't enjoy it much these days. I have a seagull picture coming up soon!

All leagues will have their support, even the office or granddad's leagues. they will support and play to evade the 'honour' of paying the first two rounds smile
Bill Phillips: My daughter Kathryn's partner Jason still plays....he is a goalkeeper and is far too brave for his own good as several visits to hospital have proved grin
The moment has been well captured here.
Bill Phillips: Piont camera, hold down shutter and hope one of the burst actually captures the moment grin
Half the team seem to be watching, another great British tradition smile
Bill Phillips: We are a great nation of spectators John
Well captured.. smile
Bill Phillips: Point camera, hold down shutter and hope one of the burst actually captures the moment...as I said to Martingrin

Ah, yes, proper football. No-one writhing on the ground with TV cameras pointing at him. I assume that the the spectator in the dark blue top towards the right was was a supporter of the non-scoring side!
Bill Phillips: Either that or he had a bet on Worcester scoring first!
