St Richard's Day

Last Saturday we had the now annual St Richard's day event in Droitwich. This involves a lot of stalls, an Italian Market and lots of classic cars. We had an empty shop and did an extra book sale plus a tombola and a ckae stall. In total we made over £950.00 of which £700 was books. We sell the books at 50p so that is a heck of a lot of books!  We were all knackered at the end of the day but it was worth itLaughing

I am guessing the "L" on the uniforms indicates these guys are Learning to be security officers...the bloke with the stuffed toy crocodile might have to leave that in his duffel bag if he wants to look tough and menacing, heh!

Wonderful ! And so many persons were active on their holiday for the L-ions Club (we know in my home town, too)! I looked out for Ange...; I personally would be interested also in the little cakes!
Bill Phillips: For most of the morning Ange was down at the Acorns shop with Kathryn. They were doing a tombola down there and raised £114 for the Hospice

Great assemblage, Bill - I do love your continuing fantasy on the mythical town of Droitwich smile
Bill Phillips: Well the reality is just too awful to show
Well done to all of you. A fine montage, I really like book sales, trouble is I have enough books to last me years, and years, and years etc. etc.
Bill Phillips: Just imagine how many we have in our garage!
