very graceful, Bill. Wish you captured more of this gorgeous curve of her stem (man's sensibility speaks in me, I guess ). And a bit shallower DOF could help as well: the background is quite busy. Otherwise, a wonderful photograph.
Bill Phillips: When you get a Clematis growing next to a climbing rose you sometimes get a bit of a busy background
Yes, each year we are witnesses of these wonders of nature: to be "reborn" - and your beautiful photo does glorify this phenomeon (depite all catastrophes we can witness to this and the last year, unfortunately).
(Yesterday the Rhododendron blossoms were exploding here in our garden, and I couldn't resist to take them, but in colour.)
Happy Easter Day and holidays to you and your family!
Bill Phillips: We have had Helen and Andy and, of course Kathryn and Jason here for a traditional English Sunday roast. I also won an enormous cake at the guess the weight of the cake competition we had at the Acorns Hospice shop yesterday. The diet has been ignored today and i have eaten far too much
Love the delicate bud and the DOV, great choice of B&W.
Hope you enjoy the Easter weekend.
Bill Phillips: We have been having a lovely weekend Lady P. We were at the Acorns shop most of yesterday selling Easter gifts and doing various other things to extract money from people! I actually won the guess the weight of the cake and came home with an enormous iced fruit cake which weighed over 3kg!! The diet is on hold today!!
