A lovely light- shadow play - and a modest kind of commemorating a really glorious success - as I like it!
Bill Phillips: It is much better than some great construction.
Very nice light indeed!! That Spanish Armada has some left over sunken boats in Ireland here and there as well. What a disaster it was grin
Bill Phillips: Well it was a disaster for the Philip II of Spain . I think we quite enjoyed it!

Huh!!!

Is there another window that commemorates the 399th anniversary?
Bill Phillips: In a word.....No
This seems to be drenched in romance, Bill. The lighting is just perfect for this kind of image. Can you show us more of Buckland Abbey?
Bill Phillips: The pictures from the 12th until today were all taken at Buckland Beverly

Nicely done Bill, considering the awkward angle to try get this one framed so well. And love the etchings, but also love the play of light and flowers.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Alex. This was about the best angle I could find
Super shot Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Janet. Have you visited Buckland?
I like this Bill, you have held the exposure together very well indeed.
Bill Phillips: This angle was about the best to get a decently exposed shot Brian
