Worcester one of many

Well we live near Worcester and the sun was shining so the buss pass was pressed into service. Nice sparkly water innit?

Yes, the sparkly water was the first thing that attracted me. I like the use of the handrail.. handy for hanging on to. I'm planning to use my bus pass during the week, too.
Bill Phillips: We get little enough out of the grasping state so good on yer!
Nice bit of subtle make over William
Bill Phillips: Subtle is not a word often associated with my snapssmile

Great work

This is a terrific picture Bill, I love the way the light is reflected in the water. Worcester must be a lovely town
Bill Phillips: Parts of it are but the planners of the 60s did a lot of damage

Yes, the shadows and the sparkling water are attracting my eyes, too ! The bus pass is a fine benefit for seniors that no other country else may know - surely a sign how the oldies are honoured in GB even in hard times.
Bill Phillips: I would like to think that was true. In part maybe

Love the sparkles in the foreground - they look just like miniature stars or fairies!
Bill Phillips: And not a starburst filter in sight....
Definitely sparkles - unless we both have the same eyesight problems smile
Bill Phillips: No we both must have gone to Specsavers Tom

I think the faery folk were dancing a jig on the water in this one, Bill! Definitely caught the moment.
Bill Phillips: smile I think perhaps they were Alexandra
yes it is Bill and the wrought iron arch looks quite nice as well.
Bill Phillips: I'm not really sure if those have any actual purpose Brian but they are a nice shape

Lovely B&W !!!In South-Africa we also have a town called Worcester. It is situtated in the Western Cape (part of the winelands) When you've got time Google it.
Bill Phillips: I will do that. There is one in the USA too. i had a look on WIKI. Yours is a bit bigger as ours has a population of about 95000.
