maybe, one "thing" too much. smile
Very un-you, Bill, and very lovely. smile
"Spiegel im Spiegel" immediately came to my mind. smile
Bill Phillips: I have a liking for odd numbers of things. mirrors in Mirrors. You prompted me to go and listen to Arvo Part, a composer I am not familiar with, and listen to this gentle, simple piece of music which has started my Sunday in very pleasant fashion

I am not sure what the previous comment mean Bill but i say that you placed these three objects very well and captured them exquisitely....petersmile
Bill Phillips: The watch is stopped at 8.49 and Speigal im spiegal can be translated as mirors in mirrors which is the title of a composition by Arvo Part which I didn't know but googled and it is well worth a listen to. A very lovely simple piece of music.

The watch may not work but at least its right twice a day unlike some working clocks! Odd is always a good number in an image. Very artistic, Bill, although I would have preferred to see a little more space between the objects.
Bill Phillips: That's how Ange has then arranged. I wouldn't dream of moving them grin
Now you get a brush and a canvas and paint your first still life.
Bill Phillips: Well, I bought some sketch pencils a while back with the idea of sketching from a b&w picture. I tried it the other day and the result was pathetic. I shall persevere but I don't get as much time as I thought I would with not working much these days!
That looks like a quality photograph Bill. I can see I must work hard on my efforts.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Stanley. I have learnt quite a bit from looking at other people's pictures and just experimenting. I am still a beginner though!
A pleasant little tabletop Bill. The Avro Part composition is one of my favourites, I have several different recordings of it on different C.D's.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Brian. I confess Arvo Part is new to me.,

Great picture and I love how Ange arranged it! I know, touch and your dead.
I have the same swan from Swarovsky, they are so nice.
Weare having a great time here up north.
Bill Phillips: Glad you are having a good time. Actually the mirror belonged to my mum ans I think the watch was Ange's granddad's. The swanwas a present to both of ussmile
