Yes...every city has a butt end, Chris, but most cities don't admit to it.
Bill Phillips: Well this IS Worcestersmile
Happy April Fools Bill, and it nearly looks like a tilt-shift
Bill Phillips: That is a technique I don't have the facility to do
Best thing about this are the railway arches in the background
Bill Phillips: True...................

It aught to be renamed Eastwood - because it is good, bad & ugly. Unlike yourself of course
Bill Phillips: Hahahahahaha...you should be on the stage

Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly

Blimey Bill, the sun has come out on your pictures. A perspective like this is will be good in time to come looking back if that makes sense.
Bill Phillips: Do you mean it will actually be interesting in about 50 years time?

A prime example of nondescript urban architecture. There is absolutely nothing nice to be said about it!
Bill Phillips: True. Even one of your generous nature is stumpedsmile

Oh, anniedog is so right, sadly, sorry - but I see a bridge - railway bridge - Roman bridge? - in any case more attracting than a certain footbridge we have to look at since ages en detail!
Bill Phillips: A fine railway viaduct. The building in the foreground is totally without merit, like a certain footbridge we could mention

This is another good photo Bill - interesting contrast between your take on Worcester this week and Chad's views of the Cirencester by-pass.
Bill Phillips: Chad is really depressing lately.

I like the photo mate
Bill Phillips: Cheers mate. Who do you reckonm will win the cricket final? I have a sneaking feeling for Sri Lanka
Happy April Fools Day Bill. A very good b&w capture with great contrast in image.
Bill Phillips: smile Thanks Laurette
I can better that Bill, this link shows you the name of a road just up from ours, no rude replies please http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/216726
Bill Phillips: LOL!!! You win hands down Brian
Good B/W and viewpoint. Shame about the buildings though
Bill Phillips: They are there and in 100 years they won't be
I had not thought about going back to black and white photography Bill. Is Worcester where you live?
Bill Phillips: Close. I live in the people's republic of Droitwich Spa (although the spa is actually closed)
So you get to be the "butt" end of everyone's jokes then, Bill? lol! A pinch and a punch to you too, for the first of the month! ;-)
Bill Phillips: Hahaha! This is genuine and not an april fool bit of photoshopping!
Does it have anywhere called The Pits?
Bill Phillips: Well it is Worcester so it stands a chance
Lovely contrast between black and white. Super capture.
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much for your comment

Delighttfully utilitarian and devoid of any interest. However, is that two CCTV cameras I see bottom centre?
Bill Phillips: Probably, the damned things are everywhere.
