When I was a child we had a cat that looked a little like Willow.
She also lived to about that age.
She was a cat of two contrasting personalities:
* when looking after her kittens [at least times each year] she was aggressive and fearless, and would attack large dogs that wandered into our house-yard, but
* when between litters she would avoid strangers and would climb into a tree if a dog was about.
Bill Phillips: Willow could look after herself with other cats. She was a rescue cat along with her mother (we think) who we christened Mutley. They spent a lot of time together

A beautiful picture of a 'grand lady' 17 years in 'cat-life' is old I think.
Bill Phillips: It is and right up to the end she looked like a kitten!

Oh, Cat Weekend - your third cat! -besides Kammy and Mac- I hear about her for the first time, and she looks wonderful curled up like a ball of wool- I can feel her soft- smooth coat -Willow may be an unusual cat- name (in German we know the bot. word Weidenk├Ątzchen /willow catkin) or is there a special story? I remember your favourite book "The Wind in the Willows") You should get a decoration ribbon after having rescued two cats from the street!
Bill Phillips: She was named after the name of the road we live in!
