Herefordshire is one of my very favourite counties: it has a wonderful feel to it. Which is more than can be said of that Mushroom Mouldy Muck CD you gave me. It had the precisely opposite effect than seeing Daniel Barenboim conduct the East west Orchestra playing Berlioz at at the Proms last night - which had me in raptures
Bill Phillips: I give you a unique and rare recording and this is all the thanks I get.
Thanks for the memories. When we were in Herefordshire the skies were very often just like this. We went when the elderflowers were out in profusion which was nice as we don't get that many in Cornwall.
Bill Phillips: My pleasure Janet. I like Herefordshire and we don't go enough
Lovely countryside Bill. The only time we went to herefordshire was during the Foot and Mouth thingy a few years back and so were a bit restricted as to where we could go.
Bill Phillips: I remember it well Brian. Worth a revisit. The golden valley is rightly much loved
Don't know Herefordshire well Bill but looks pretty lush and unspoilt. (cant say the same for BJS!)
Bill Phillips: Oner of the truly awful country songs

Let's praise the NT- allover in England- and I have enjoyed the gorgeous coastlines of Lizard, St. Mount, Land's End...-the Lanhydrock and other Manor houses - even from our hotel where I'm just using the PC I have such a lovely view- green-green-green- it is overwhelming!
Bill Phillips: There are some wonderful NT properties and gardens in Cornwall and I'm pleased you are enjoying them
Too much gazing at this gorgeous pastoral would likely bring on an attack of agrophobia.
