A bit on the garish side for me Bill - preferred the outside. Just a heathen I'm afraid ;o)
Bill Phillips: I'll do a gloomy dark one for you one of these days

Like a crowded antiques shop, overflowing with old stuff [don't "frumppf", Bill...I was not referring to you].

Nice crowded montage, too.
Bill Phillips: That's not a bad description Ray!

Well it's certainly full of interesting monuments
Bill Phillips: I liked it. Bit like a Victorian living room in an odd sort of waytongue

A fine collage and I can detect so many details in this "delightful little church" - I especially like the little pics below: the relief and the bunch of flowers - sadly, we cannot look a the golden altar from the near (the annunciation, Mary with her child...)- a real gem- this little church!
Bill Phillips: We liked it , it had great charm

Bill Phillips: There is so much in these churches, they are a history book

Your collage shows many fascinating details that may be overlooked in a larger image.
Bill Phillips: That's the idea to a degree Alan. I'm trying to give a flavour of these places without boring everybody to deathgrin
I am glad you are presenting so many images in this way or the series would last forever and become rather boring.
Bill Phillips: Of course you would never do that....always leave the audience wanting more!

Good collage must try this
Bill Phillips: Very simple vintage. This is done in Picasa which is a Google freebie. I used to use a program that came bundled with corel but it fell over and refused to work again! That was what I used for our Helen's wedding collages

Don't take any notice of Mike -he has no idea about churches! All the little details are delightful - the way you have arranged them running along the bottom is like a predella on an altar painting. Lol at Chad!
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: I don't! Glad you like the arrangement. I am always laughing at Chad
I just love your collages
Bill Phillips: Thank you I am delighted you do
Well put together ..you had some fun resizing then...or is it auto done? Wonderful old place Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is automatic. I'm using Picasa which is a Google freebie and works well, if a bit limited
A wonderful presentation of this beautiful church Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Richard. It is a delightful church
Lots of detail in the church.
Bill Phillips: Hopefully you get a flavour of what it is like

From yesterday's information:
There are several large tombs in the church. The most prominent, to Edward Dineley, 1646, is placed asked in the first bay of the north arcade, and is of Renaissance design, ... On the front face of the base are the kneeling figures of four sons and three daughters in high relief...." We see only 3 sons, the 3 daughters are allowed to stand! That we must call: r e a l f a m i l y!
Bill Phillips: Those were the days when the men had the upper handgrin
Nice collage once again Bill and some very interesting details from this very interesting looking little church.
Bill Phillips: Pleased you like it Brian
The atmosphere is fanatastically depicted Bill.
I like this collection a lot too. It gives a great overview of the church.

Many of your collections are great. I have the feeling you take the right elements together.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Paul. I try and make them tell a story
