Bill Phillips: Indeed Ada...could have sworn I said that to someone recently Now Bacon butties..
Very simple. First you need two slices of thickly cut bread. Traditionally crusty white bread but granary is very nice.
Fry some good, fairly thick cut bacon ( I prefer smoked but it's a matter of taste) I like the bacon well done or even crispy.
Add any extras you fancy like sliced and well fried mushrooms or a fried egg. Or there is black pudding. You will never have seen this probably but it is a traditional product. I will not tell you what it is made from but I love it!
Assemble your buttie (or sandwich) Add some sauce. I like traditional brown sauce or Worcestershire sauce, some people put red sauce on.
Eat with a large cup of tea. For me it has to be tea.
This is great Bill. The composition with the diagonal of the pool edge, the light catching the metal bars, the colour. The only thing I would change would be to crop out the out of focus band at the bottom.
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: I'm not sure how that blue band happened. I think it must be a metal railing. You are dead right Ingrid, it ought to go!
Bill you should know by now indoor, outdoor we Musketeers will brave anything. I would love to swim in this poolit looks so inviting, but alas my doctor would not allow it right now.
Great job
Bill Phillips: Well when he does, you'll have to give it a go!
Excellent shot Bill, I'm not into abstract very much but this really catches my eye. By the way, are you meeting Astrid in the Autumn, she seems to suggest that today?
Bill Phillips: That is the plan. Hoping to have a meet up with her, Ginnie and Tracy in October all being well
Gorgeous blue and chrome, and very abstract - for you, we are accustomed to Clent Hills and Droitwich. But keep going, lets have some more drama and shapes. Lovely.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Sheila. I don't just do Clent Hills and Droitwich...I do lots of National Trust properties too!
