If you change this to a black background just look and see what happens to the top right hand corner.
This is Hidcote. A stunningly beautiful garden. This is a simple little picture and I just liked the combination of colours. So I hope you like it too.

Someone sure had fun landscaping this arrangement, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Hidcote is the work of Lawrence Johnston, who designed and built the gardens over a period of 40 years from 1907. Influenced by the Arts and crafts movement the garden is a series of "rooms" and at every turn you see something different. Johnston was entirely self taught as a gardener!
Fixing the corner is a simple cloning job The does look like a wonderful garden. The sliver of trail invites one to explore. Nicely done!
Bill Phillips: Easily fixed indeed Martin but I was fascinated by how much more obvious it becomes against a black background. This is a fantastic garden, one of my favourites.
I like the way you have focused on the red flowers and the softness of the flowers surrounding them. I think it looks better on the black background - it seems to intensify the colours. The top right corner is easily cloned out. There you are - sorted!

Bill Phillips: I agree about the background but put in on the white because of the difference. I would have cloned out the white and re-loaded it but I thought it was interesting. My default background is white as I found i tended not to try a picture on a white background when the default was black, whereas I almost always try it on black when it's white! How odd is that?
...simple....who is talking about simple, this is just a great capture, love the flowers, love your point of view, very well seen, great job, a joy for the eye.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Astrid. Hidcote is a joy for the eye in every direction. I think you would like it!
Very pleasant image to look at Bill. I like the colours combination too!
Bill Phillips: I have a friend who never mixes colours in her garden. It's a blue area or a white area. I love this mixed up look, nature isn't regimented!
Beautiful flower bed shot Bill although I might have trimmed a bit of the OOF forground out. I'm going to Google and see where Hidcote is, I believe you've mentioned it before.
Bill Phillips: Hmm...yes maybe a little off the bottom. Hidcote is in Gloucestershire near Chipping Camden. If you haven't been I am sure you would love it!
