Chedworth

This started off as a simple shot into the sun, just to see how the camera would handle it. Then I started playing around and it ended up like this.

Looks like an etching!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Martin, that's what I thought.
Interesting Bill. Keep fiddling: there's always new techniques to discover
Bill Phillips: Thanks Chris. Trouble is I don't always remember how I did something!

Reminds me of an etching print too! I like it!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Kathryn. I was quite pleased with the end result and I thought it seemed like it had been etched.
It makes for a very interesting photograph. I love the detail and the filtering sun. (:o)
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Ros.smile

More like a pen and ink drawing than a photograph Bill. I'll have to try some of this processing malarkey - I don't go beyond changing from colour to B&W. David.
Bill Phillips: Thanks David. There is a bit of the ink outline tool in there somewhere, if I remember! Playing around is great fun!!
This image does lend itself to being similar to an etching, I agree. I'm not as in love with the tones of this one as I am in your Roche Abbey image. That one I likeyed smile
Bill Phillips: Thanks Julie and thank you for the likey, it has made my daysmile

Well Bill, I think your camera just handles it beautiful, keep on playing with it, Bravo, love it!
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Astrid. I shall keep on playing!
It's great. Love the way the people have turned out.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Olwen. They remind me of the old ready brek advert where the kids went off to school with a glow around them!
Interesting result Bill, keep having fun.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Nigel. I will. The feedback on SC spurs me on to try things.
