Welcome to Hereford

Hereford is a cathedral city in the county of Herefordshire. The cathedral holds the famous medieval Mappa Mundi which is the largest medieval map known to exist.

The Hereford bull is very much the symbol of the county and Hereford cattle have been distributed world wide and there are some 5 million pedigree Herefords around the world

Hereford was also home to the SAS regiment in the British Army.

Now this is both a ferocious looking and useful beast. It seems to dominate the place, as it properly should..
Bill Phillips: I would not want to be in a field with one.

Is this in celebration of Hereford FC being promoted to Bath Vity’s league?
Bill Phillips: I had a feeling Hereford got promoted but had no idea it was into the same league as Bath. There is a possibility that Exeter City will be playing in the same league as Birmingham City next sesaon
