Oh, I'm longing for snow and a winter walk in December sun like the depictured one- I can feel the fresh, healthy air!
Bill Phillips: I can't say I'm longing for snow as it caused great problems getting to work last year.

I'm glad you gave the date - I was afraid winter had come very early.
We have to come back to UK for a week at the end of the month, and it mustn't snow until we come back to Spain. Sheila has spoken! smile
Bill Phillips: It is mild here at the moment and the autumn colours have been lovely. I don't want snow either!
I bet you have got your decorations out already and your inflatable Santa on the roof of your house.
Bill Phillips: The presents are wrapped and the tree is decorated. Like Hell! Before we know it there will be Easter eggs in the shops and hot cross buns

What a joy this is, Bill. I recognise the view from the day I had with with you. Snow on the Clent Hill is unlikely at the moment; its around 17 deg C here and I guess not a lot different there.
Bill Phillips: It has been very mild here Alan. Thought you would recognise it. Could be like this next week though as they seem to think it is going to go much colder next week
A really nice snow scene. The early snow in October 2008 combined with autumn colour was an unusual bonus.

I was here this morning before light and heard on the radio that we'd had our first snow. Surprisingly, none stayed on the ground in my community but it did in some. It all melted though since then. We are to have two cold days the Fri will be 15.
Bill Phillips: Sounds pretty chilly!
With those autumn colours, one feels that this is how it should always be!
